Why the farmer doesn't plant potatoes

It's like, you eat potatoes everyday, then one day, the farmer says, 'Oh, I'm not planting potatoes anymore. Eat tomatoes instead.' -- how K describes my disappearance from blogsphere.

So this farmer here has stopped planting her potatoes.

Why? Maybe it's because the drama queen in me has mellowed. Say hello to Missy McChill... or something like that. And I reckon, since my writing won't be very much as dramatic, it won't be right to continue on here.

The drama queen is dethroned and it's probably time to move on.

I'm not going to give up writing... but it's going to take on a more personal approach. Like some of my friends have done, the blog is likely to go private. I don't need the whole world knowing what's going on in my life - my new journal will be more of an avenue for close pals to update themselves... but of course, I'd very much prefer telling my stories over tea or ice-cream. Nothing beats the company of buddies.

If anything, I can still be contacted via email or msn: joy_shijia@msn.com

It's been a good 2.5 years... *takes a bow*
