Weekend Celebrations (I)

I've got loads of pictures to share coz it was my birthday last weekend! Was meaning to put up some yesterday but was kinda in a moody fit with some gnawing irritations. But anyway, there's too much worth being cheerful about to stay sullen for long so I'm back with the account of my weekend. It was a pretty eventful weekend with a gazillion of photos but I only have so much time (blame the stupid exams... bah I so hate school!) so I'm gonna have to do this in parts.

There was ALOT of eating, so much that I feel that I'm worthy of my own food variety show. Fiona Xie has 'Coffee Talk and Hawker Walks', mine could be something like this

presenting....

yah right =)

On Friday night was dinner with Grace and Kenny.

I tried out the goth look. Scary?

Okay back to my food adventure. I met up with K first who decided on the place for dinner; where we were going to eat was supposed to be a surprise but guess who was in for mock horror when I casually exclaimed that I was rather full from a late lunch...

We were going to DONG DONG KUISHIN BO!

A very long-awaited trip there indeed... we've been planning to do the Japanese buffet for months but have never made it.

In spite of the rather filled tummy, when I saw the spread of food laid out before me, I immediately felt my stomach expand to make way for the delightful cuisine. So much food, so little space!

The three of us each have our distinct ways of dealing with that much food: (click on the pictures for an enlarged view)

The freshest, most slippery and juicy salmon sashimi... oiishi desu yo!

Then we get a little cranky with the photo-taking

And there was dessert - my favourite part of the every meal!

We're not good at concealing our excitement, are we?

Ultimate satisfaction!

Watch out for part II when we went for beers at Timbre!
