End of an Era

If you're observant enough, you'd have noticed that I've change my blog name. Sadly, I am no longer a Pre-Adult. In some ways I guess the label would still hold truth (like how I'm still financially dependent on my parents... yikes) but legally, I'm no longer a kid.

I can probably delude myself that I'm still one when I munch on these (my childhood favourite snacks).

But I'm an adult now. I'm 21.

Oh well, who am I kidding... I never thought being 21 was a big deal.

But my friends beg to differ. Which is why, to my sweet surprise, they lavished upon me, lots of attention and gifts! Very touched - that they went through all the trouble and effort in spite of the coming exams.

THANK YOU ALL!

Just to share some of the SWEET (literally) surprises I got...

Personalised chocolate from SK!

My first bouquet of chocolate from Joanne

and another BIG hamper of goodies from her...

...all to add to my very own 'Willy Wonka' store (chocolates and sweets are ALL i have in my fridge and they are all gifts and treats from my friends!)

But, honestly, nothing can be sweeter than having a little surprise celebration planned right in the midst of my mugging session (thanks tresa!) and having a good friend to travel all the way back to our ulu campus to celebrate my birthday! And it's a good friend that I haven't met in a while and miss terribly... thanks Joanne!

I have so many people to thank.

The best present this year? Just knowing that there are so many people who remember and who care.... second best?

The 1000 paper-cranes my aunt folded for me for well-wishes.

Sometimes I just need to be less cynical and realise that I'm really one blessed girl woman.
